School Governing Body Farewell Function
On Wednesday 25th April at a most convivial function hosted by the School in the Victoria Hall, new Governing Body members were welcomed, and those leaving, bade farewell.

Steve Colenbrander (Chairman) could unfortunately not attend, being overseas but Alan Martin (Vice Chairman) said a few words on his behalf. In describing Robin Barnsley’ tenure as Chairman, Steve said:

“Robin, I have watched over the last 12 months as you have managed the Governing Body and I can only admire your energy and passion for Maritzburg College. Your service has not gone unrecognized, and the sacrifices that you have made in terms of time and effort are considerable. We salute you for that and we are very grateful.
